Electronic Arts and DICE’s new Battlefield game appears to have leaked a bit early, thanks to the Xbox Store. An image that appears to be from Battlefield 5 — or whatever EA will officially call the next game in the series — seems to confirm long-standing rumors that DICE’s shooter will take place during the first World War.
Artwork apparently from the new Battlefield shows a soldier armed with an early 20th century pistol and a spiked grenade. He also appears to be standing in front of a zeppelin, airships that were used during World War I.
We’ll find out more, officially, when EA and DICE reveal official details on the next Battlefield game later today.
