Fallout 4 Free Right Now For Xbox One – IGN

Share.

We’ve reached out for comment.

Whether it’s a pricing glitch or an unannounced promotion, Xbox One owners can get Fallout 4 on the Xbox store for the low, low cost of zero dollars.

It’s actually more than just the game currently offered at no cost. The Automatron DLC, Digitial Deluxe Edition, Wasteland Workshop DLC and the Season Pass are all now listed on the Xbox Store for free.

Got feedback on our player?

We want to hear it.

Missing from the free Fallout 4 extravaganza is the latest DLC, Far Harbor, but it’s part of the Season Pass so it’s there, just not stand-alone.

We’re not entirely sure why the Xbox One Fallout 4 content doesn’t cost anything on the store at the moment, but we’ve reached out to both Bethesda and Microsoft to find out what exactly is going on.

If it’s some kind of stealth promotion for E3, hey, that’s awesome. If it’s some sort of pricing glitch, don’t be surprised if the glitch gets fixed. In other words, you could possibly download the 30.1 GB file and have it turn out to be a total dud.

Bethesda’s big E3 conference is coming up, and we asked you what you hoped to see from the event. Did you hope to see free Fallout? Because, maybe!

We’ll definitely update this story when we get word back, but in the meantime, have a wicked good time exploring the Commonwealth if you haven’t already.
