Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past had a fairly lengthy showcase on the Nintendo Treehouse stream today, giving us a good look at how well it’s transitioned to 3DS. We also heard how fan-power made the localisation happen, with letters from fans in France apparently being the key motivation for Square Enix.
In any case, the demonstration ended without a release date, yet the game’s Nintendo E3 web page has been updated – it looks set to arrive on 16th September. We should treat that as the North American release date, though hopefully PAL details won’t be far behind.
