SPOILER WARNING: The following article mentions a character that appears after the first season of the Attack on Titan anime and reveals an event that takes place at the end of the Attack on Titan game.
In addition to a few original side stories, the Attack on Titan game has its own original final fight against two notable titans, and few other scenes from the manga featuring the beast titan.
"The terms between Kodansha and us were for the first season of the anime," Attack on Titan producer Hisashi Koinuma told IGN. "Obviously we pushed it a little bit and got their permission to be creative."
Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan is already out in Japan, and will be available in North America on August 30. Developer Omega Force recently announced that its next Warriors project is based on the Berserk anime.
