Matchmaking problems need to be resolved, Bungie says
The Iron Banner tournament scheduled to go live today in Destiny has been canceled, Bungie announced last night on Twitter, citing problems that have plagued multiplayer events over the past week.
The problems involve matchmaking and were seen in the Trials of Osiris multiplayer event over the weekend, Bungie said. It’s not clear when the problems will be resolved or when the tournament will return.
This week’s tournament was to have begun at 1 p.m. ET and run through June 28. The on-and-off tournament series returned at the end of May after Bungie patched out an unlimited ammo exploit.
