It looks like Kojima is here to stay in the games industry.
Speaking today at Develop: Brighton, game developer Hideo Kojima discussed the reason he has stayed in game development for so long in an interview with Mark Cerny.
"Every game brings me closer and closer to making what I imagine," Kojima told Cerny. "That’s why I could never stop making games."
Comments like these come after Kojima’s moves through the industry, including a tumultuous separation from Konami, publisher of the Metal Gear Solid series. Kojima now runs his own studio, Kojima Productions, and unveiled the studio’s newest project Death Stranding live during Sony’s E3 2016 press conference. Kojima recently discussed about how he was very concerned this latest project would leak before its E3 reveal.
