Microsoft has started teasing background music support for the Groove Music app on the Xbox One. If you are running the latest builds from the Xbox One Preview program, you will now be greeted with a Coming Soon message in the Groove Music app. The message states:
Groove will be launching a new ap pexperience on Xbox One that includes background music. In the meantime, you can continue enjoying the current Groove app.
Of course, this isn’t anything surprising as Microsoft has previously announced that this feature will be coming to the Xbox One with the Anniversary Update. However, this message could mean that we will be getting the new Groove app on the Xbox One very soon. If you are a Groove Music user, are you excited about the upcoming app?
