If you read our Nintendo Download Update details for Europe recently you’ll have seen Ambition of the Slimes in the 3DS eShop category, a turn-based RPG in which you control slimes of various abilities. Developed by Altair Works and being published by CIRCLE Entertainment, it certainly looks promising.
The good news is that it’s also coming to North America in this week’s update (on 11th August) priced at $5, and it seems rather intriguing. The trailer below showcases the retro look and sound, along with some neat 3D environments with an isometric camera angle. As you can see, different kinds of slimes need to ‘claim’ humans in order to use them in battle.
It looks rather neat and quirky, which is always a combination to pique our interest. Is this one on your radar?
