Mr. Robot gets web-based game, Endgame

The game has some pretty great references for fans

Mr. Robot, USA’s captivating thriller about a group of hackers in New York City, finally has a video game.

Today, the network debuted its new 16-bit, web-based title, Endgame. The game features six levels, each one devoted to a different aspect of the show that fans will appreciate. The games test both skill and logic, combining a number of riddles, equations and time-based obstacles that players must complete to move on to the next level.

For example, the first level takes place on a chess board — which is a reference to a very important scene that occurred this season — and players are tasked with moving a green ball from one side of the board to the other before it disappears.

Most of the games are pretty simple in design, reminiscent of puzzles that can be found on the back of children’s menus at restaurants, but the game does a good job of incorporating some of the most important details of the show’s two seasons. Those that have always wanted to feel like a part of fsociety, the hacker collective that exposed E-Corp and started a revolution across America, should appreciate the inside knowledge of the show.

The game is available to play right now for free. Mr. Robot airs Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET on USA.
