Friday the 13th: The Game, due to launch sometime next month, rolled out a trailer for PAX West that showcases more grisly killing scenes set to a rokken-like-Dokken Fiero-mullet 1980s soundtrack.
In it we see Jason Voorhees in his many incarnations — hockey-mask, bag-on-head, decomposed hell-beast, etc. — thin out Crystal Lake’s population of nubile camp counselors. As the Russian playwright Anton Chekhov once said, "If in the first act you have hung a pitchfork on the wall, then in the following one it a roaring chainsaw must gnaw through the torso of a twentysomething hunk with a blonde butt cut."

No word specifically on when Friday the 13th drops. October 2016 contains four Fridays, but they are numbered 7, 14, 21 and 28. Alas.
