Akuma and Heihachi square off
Tekken 7‘s single-player story mode will feature a (mostly) seamless mix of pre-rendered cut scenes and in-engine, one-on-one fighting game action. You can see a sampling of that story mode gameplay, captured directly from a PlayStation 4, in the gameplay video above.
You may have seen this battle play out at Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference earlier this year, but as publisher Bandai Namco points out, this is the first time we’re seeing Tekken 7 played on PS4.
While you watch, forgive the hadoken spam; Heihachi doesn’t exactly fight fair in Tekken 7‘s story mode.
Tekken 7 is coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One sometime in early 2017.
