Voice cast includes Justin Long as Spyro
Skylanders Academy, an animated series based on Activision Blizzard’s toys-and-video games hybrid, will screen on Netflix on Oct. 28.
Netflix announced a two-series, 26-episode deal for the show in June. Skylanders Academy marks the first release out of Activision Blizzard Studios, which creates television series and films based on characters and stories from the company’s games.
Skylanders Academy follows key characters who travel through the Skylanders universe taking on various enemies and showing a new wave of cadets how to defend their world. The voice cast was also announced with Justin Long as Spyro, Ashley Tisdale as Stealth Elf, Jonathan Banks as Eruptor and Norm MacDonald as Glumshanks.
