John Wick heads to Italy, is looking for a fight in first footage from sequel

All that’s missing is the dog

The first official trailer for John Wick 2 will premiere at New York Comic Con this Saturday, but you don’t have to wait until then to see the first footage from the sequel.

A 17-second teaser for the trailer was tweeted out from the film’s official account Wednesday afternoon. Although there isn’t much footage, we do see Wick suiting up and handling some guns in Rome.

The full clip can be seen above with the trailer set to premiere during Lionsgate’s panel at New York Comic Con on at 2 p.m. ET on Oct. 8. Set after the events of the first John Wick, the sequel finds the character flying from New York City to Rome to take on a new villain. We can only assume at this point that it’s all in the name of revenge. The sequel, most importantly, will also feature a new dog for Wick to look after.

John Wick 2 hits theaters Feb. 10, 2017.
