Samsung has recalled Note7 and replacement Note7
Oculus is removing support of the Gear VR for all Samsung Galaxy Note7 phones, Facebook announced through emails and on the Oculus website today.
The move comes as Samsung continues to investigate reports of the phone exploding or catching fire.
“If you have bought content in the Oculus store to use with your Note7 and you’d like to be refunded, Oculus will honor that,” according to the statement sent to owners. “More information about the refund process is forthcoming.”
The website listed for how to receive a refund hasn’t yet been updated with those details, but the site does note that the support for the Note7 has been removed “until further notice.”
