Free Update 4 for Doom has been released, bringing with it Arcade Mode, which transforms the campaign into a score-based challenge.
The Arcade Mode allows you to play every level with all the guns, runes, and equipment upgrades unlocked. Plus, you can customize your gear before your run starts to discover which combinations are best for you.
The ultimate goal is to climb the leaderboards, and you gain score by killing enemies quickly, avoiding damage, and collecting multipliers.
In addition, Classic Doom modules are being added to SnapMap, the level creation tool. Plus, id Software has already created some maps using assets based on the original games for you to try out.
