A New Update is Rolling Out for Pokémon GO

Following hot on the heels of the announcement of Pokémon GO‘s first event, Niantic has opted to put out another update for the popular monster catching game. This update doesn’t really change much, mostly affecting cosmetic parts of the game, but it’s nonetheless welcome.

The biggest change is that eggs will now be a different color based upon how far one must walk to hatch them. Additionally, Pokémon type icons are now displayed on the info screen for each Pokémon, and a low battery indicator has been added for the Pokémon GO Plus accessory. We’re sure you’re all jumping for joy at these changes, but Niantic can’t be too far off from implementing bigger changes like trading and battling. R-Right?

What do you think? Are you glad to see these minor changes? When do you think Niantic will add in something more substantial? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
