Consoles and games galore!
With exactly two weeks to go until the big day, GameStop’s Black Friday ad has finally come in, courtesy of BFAds.net.
The bonanza begins at 5 a.m. on the day after Thanksgiving, which is when GameStop locations across the U.S. will open. However, the deals are valid all weekend long, from Thanksgiving through Sunday, Nov. 27.
Let’s take a look at the best deals offered in GameStop’s 12-page circular.
PlayStation 4
The Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End 500 GB “slim” PlayStation 4 bundle is available for $249.99 ($50 off), including your choice of The Last of Us Remastered or Ratchet & Clank. That deal is available only on Black Friday.
While a gold DualShock 4 controller will be available exclusively at GameStop starting Nov. 21 for $64.99, the store’s Black Friday deals include $20 off a standard black DualShock 4, which brings the price down to $39.99. Other designs like the red and urban camouflage gamepads are also discounted by $20, cutting the price to $44.99.
On the games side, you’ll find deals on a few PS4 exclusives. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, World of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest Builders will each be available for $39.99, 33 percent off the regular price of $59.99. Killing Floor 2, which launches next week, will be on sale for $29.99 instead of $39.99. The Last of Us Remastered and Ratchet & Clank will be available for $9.99 each, while No Man’s Sky will go for $19.99 (all 50 percent off).
Xbox One
GameStop is offering $50 off any new Xbox One console, including the 1 TB Xbox One S bundled with Gears of War 4, which will cost $299.99 instead of $349.99. Gears 4 itself will be available for $34.99, 25 percent off the regular price.
Three-month and six-month Xbox Live Gold subscription cards will be discounted by $10 to $14.99 and $29.99, respectively. Microsoft’s JD Fenix Limited Edition Gears of War 4 controller, which regularly costs $74.99, will be $20 cheaper at $54.99.
Nintendo
Oddly enough, there are no worthwhile Nintendo deals — neither on Wii U nor 3DS — to speak of in GameStop’s ad.
PS4/Xbox One games
Plenty of multiplatform games will be on sale at GameStop.
