Following yesterday’s new Star Wars: Rogue One TV spot, which was called "Dream," Lucasfilm today released another video for the upcoming spinoff. Titled "Jyn and Cassian," this extended TV spot focuses on those two rebel characters and their attempts to steal the plans to the Death Star. As you’ll see, this involves going undercover in some cases. Check it out.
Felicity Jones stars as Jyn Erso, while Diego Luna plays Cassian. The spinoff also features Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, Forest Whitaker, Donnie Yen, and James Earl Jones as the voice of Darth Vader. It’s directed by Gareth Edwards, who previously made 2010’s Monsters and 2014’s Godzilla.
Rogue One comes to theaters on December 16. It’s not expected to make as money as The Force Awakens, which stands as the third highest grossing movie in history, behind only Titanic and Avatar.
The Star Wars Battlefront video game is getting Rogue One-themed DLC before the movie’s premiere next month. It’s called Rogue One: Scarif and adds Jyn Erso and Director Orson Krennic as playable Hero characters.
