53 PS4 & Xbox One Skyrim Mods You Should Try Right Now – Gotta Be Mobile

Skyrim mods are now available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and there are a number of Skyrim mods we think you should try on your PS4 and Xbox One right now.

Earlier this year Bethesda confirmed a Skyrim remaster for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Skyrim Special Edition comes with improved graphics but its biggest draw might just be mod support for console. The original game didn’t offer mod support for Xbox or PlayStation 4.

Skyrim mods are now live for console and there are already several amazing modifications available for the Xbox One and PS4.

Once you get Skyrim Special Edition (and its updates) installed on your system you can head to the game’s Mods section and dig through a growing catalog of modifications that can change your game in a variety of different ways.

Some mods make small tweaks to the game. Others deliver new items, characters, and graphical changes to Skyrim Special Edition.

PS4 Skyrim mods are more limited than Xbox One mods because PS4 mod developers can’t use external assets. (Each slide notes the mod’s status for Xbox One/PS4.)

That said, there are still some amazing Skyrim mods for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and today we want to help narrow your list a little bit as we highlight some of our favorite Skyrim Special Edition mods for consoles.

This list will continue to grow in the days ahead so be on the lookout for regular updates.

Relationship Dialogue Overhaul

Relationship Dialogue Overhaul is a mod for the followers you can recruit to follow you around the world of Tamriel.

This mod is extensive and it adds more than five thousand lines of voiced dialogue (using the original voices from the game) and 50 voice types.

This dialogue is focused on friends, followers, spouses, and rivals. So, if your follower is your spouse, their dialogue will sound more like a husband or wife.

This video walkthrough will highlight the key elements of this outstanding Skyrim Special Edition mod for the Xbox One.

Unfortunately, unless Bethesda and Sony change the rules, we’ll probably never see it released for the PlayStation 4.
