New Details Announced For Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment

New footage for the second of three Shovel Knight expansions was released tonight at the 2016 Game Awards.

The footage for the Specter Knight campaign “Specter of Torment” shows that the game is being built from the ground up and is a standalone prequel to the 2014 independent hit. Specter Knight will be responsible for the recruitment of Shovel Knight’s villians, the Order of No Quarter.

The expansion will launch in the spring, and the trailer can be seen below:
