Sniper Elite, the World War II cult hit series from Rebellion Developments, pumped out the first trailer setting up the story of Sniper Elite 4, which is headed to Italy to break Il Duce’s 20-year grip on the nation.
In 1943, however, Italy was beset by labor stoppages, a typhoid epidemic and a punishing Allied bombing campaign that pushed Mussolini’s government to the edge. Lantern-jawed hero Karl Fairburne is gonna swing into action to singlehandedly tip it all over and free Rome. Sniper Elite 4 is coming Feb. 4, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. It is not everyone’s cup of tea, but those who drink it love it. Sniper Elite is at its best when players play along with the patience and awareness required to set up, take and slip away from the perfect shot right through some fascist’s testicles.
