Winter and snow has descended on World of Tanks: Blitz [Free] and brought along with it some fun goodies and a new event, Winter Fair. The event begins December 19th and ends January 16th and brings new missions, the Winter Fair Site, Auctions, and Chests. The new Missions will get you tickets, credits, premium time, and the first Swedish Premium tank in the game, the autoloading Stridsvagn 74A2. The Winter Fair Site lets you spent Tickets on Auctions and Chests, with Auctions letting you pick up rare Premium tanks – whose prices decrease over time but there’s only a limited amount – and chests that come with cool prizes.
There’s all kinds of details on how the event will run, and you can go here to find out how you can get the best out of it. Wargaming continues to improve WOT Blitz, and I’m glad to see events like these since they make the game more fun to play and the grind feel less bad.
