ARK Survival Evolved PS4 update, as Studio Wildcard confirm new PC and Xbox One release – Express.co.uk

ARK Survival Evolved has now been released on all platforms and is set to be continually updated until the final version is launched later in 2017.

These usually full into two categories, ones that add content, and others that sort out problems behind the scenes.

A new ARK Survival Evolved PS4 update has been launched, not bringing new content but focusing on improving the quality of the game in other ways.

Studio Wildcard have confirmed that the stalling noticed by fans playing on the PS4 Official Servers should be heavily reduced from this latest deployment, although Wildcard have said they will need to continue to monitor the problem to make sure.

The development have also launched new PS4 Servers, numbered from 719 through to 734.

Fans on all platforms have also been invited to play the game on December 31 from 12PM EST until January 1 12PM EST for a chance to win a New Year Exclusive Penguin Skin.

Studio Wildcard have also clarified more on their next animal being released into the game and its connection to a recent Steam Award nomination.

“We were encouraged by Valve to rally the Community to come together and vote in the upcoming Steam Awards,” a recent message reads.

“We thought what better way to do this than add a modern-day farmyard animal! In our excitement, Ovis Aries was designed as a fun celebration of the nomination.

“We want to make it clear that regardless of whether ARK wins a Steam Award or not, Ovis will be making its debut in the next major ARK version update.”

ARK is the finalist in the “Best Use Of A Farm Animal” category, and having asked fans to vote so that the new Sheep would be added, it had to be made clear that the animal wouldn’t be held back from version v254 if the game fails to pick up the gong.
