Evo 2017 Game Line-up Announced

Evo 2017, the fighting game community’s biggest tournament, is taking place in July, and the games at the event have now been revealed.

During a Twitch live stream last night, the organisers announced eight games confirmed to be at the show, and also revealed there would be a player vote for the ninth game on the roster.

We want to hear it.

The eight games definitely at Evo are: Street Fighter V, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2, Super Smash Bros. Wii U, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Injustice 2, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Tekken 7, and The King of Fighters XIV.

Street Fighter V, the Smash Bros. games, and Tekken 7 have all been seen at Evo before, while the other games on the list will be making their debut.

In order to vote for the final game to appear at Evo, fans must donate to the charity page at Generosity and put their money towards whichever game they choose. The games to select from are: ARMS, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Killer Instinct, Pokken Tournament, Windjammers, Skullgirls, Mortal Kombat XL, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and Nidhogg.

Last year’s tournament featured a number of the games which are now up for public vote.

Evo 2017 is set to take place between July 14 – 16 in Las Vegas.
