First Logan Clip Shows Wolverine Keeping Professor X Safe

After airing a new trailer during Super Bowl LI, Fox today released the first clip from the upcoming Wolverine movie Logan.

The movie is set in the near future, with Logan (Hugh Jackman) taking care of an "ailing" Professor X (Patrick Stewart) in a hideout near the Mexican border.

Logan also stars Stephen Merchant, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Boyd Holbrook, and Richard E. Grant. It hits theaters on March 3, 2017.

Recently, Jackman revealed that Logan takes place in a different universe than the previous films. "It’s not really beholden to timelines and storylines in the other movies," he said. "Obviously Patrick Stewart was in there so we have some crossover, but it feels very different and very fresh."
