Gears of War 4’s February update will bring two new maps, Guardian improvements, and more, The Coalition has announced.
The first map, titled Impact Dark, will be "a remixed version of Impact that completely re-imagines the combat dynamics of the original," according to The Coalition. Impact Dark will have a nighttime setting with visibility permanently reduced by smoke. Snipers will be swapped out with Boltoks, Dropshot replaces Torque/EMBAR, and the Overkill replaces Incendiaries, all in an effort "to alter the flow of the map."
