A new trailer for the Netflix original movie The Discovery starring Jason Segel, Rooney Mara, and Robert Redford has come online. A romantic sci-fi movie, The Discovery takes place one year after the existence of afterlife is scientifically proven to exist.
Millions of people commit suicide in an effort to find out what comes next. As this is going on, a man (Segel) and a woman (Mara) fall in love "while coming to terms with their own tragic pasts and the true nature of the afterlife." Here’s the trailer:
The Discovery was directed by Charlie McDowell (The One I Love, Silicon Valley). It premiered in January at the Sundance Film Festival and premieres on Netflix on March 31.
