Hacknet, the narrative-focussed hacking simulator that utilises real-world computer hacking processes, is getting its first single-player expansion, titled Labyrinths, on March 31, 2017.
The new chapter boasts 3-4 hours of story content featuring more complex security systems and networks to break through, as well as a few mechanical twists–Labyrinths’ new hacking tools will also reveal new secrets hidden in the original game.
Labyrinth’s story sees the player working together with other fictional hackers as part of a team. This will involve communicating over IRC (Internet Relay Chat) and coordinating a number of simultaneous hacking tasks in order to pull off a series of perilous data heists on secure systems.
