Many members of the For Honor community are unhappy with the game’s microtransaction system and Ubisoft has come forward to address the backlash.
Unlocking all of the extra content in For Honor without paying requires an incredibly large amount of in-game currency. In fact, one player estimates it would take 2.5 years to acquire every customization item without spending any additional money. According to game director Damien Kieken, during a recent Ubisoft Montreal livestream (via VG247), For Honor wasn’t designed for players to unlock everything in this manner.
