Destiny 2’s worldwide reveal happens this Thursday
Bungie and Activision continue the slow rollout of unveiling Destiny 2. Today, the companies released a new teaser trailer called “Last Call,” in which Cayde-6 — once again played by actor Nathan Fillion — enjoys a glass of space booze and recounts a memorable battle, presumably a hint at what’s to come in the Destiny sequel.
While the teaser doesn’t show any actual gameplay from Destiny 2, it comes with a bit of news: Bungie says it will release a “worldwide reveal trailer” for Destiny 2 on Thursday, March 30 at 10 a.m. PT.
The teaser also appears to show the destruction of Destiny’s The Last City, which is seen in flaming wreckage in artwork previously released by Bungie. It also presents a very different, more humorous tone than the original Destiny had when it was announced.
Destiny 2 is coming sometime this fall, with a rumored Sept. 8 release date. Bungie and Activision officially announced the sequel earlier this week, revealing the game’s official name and logo.
