Star Wars: Battlefront 2’s Offline Co-Op Isn’t Available On PC

A new detail about Star Wars: Battlefront II has come to light regarding its offline co-op. Contrary to an earlier statement, offline co-op will be available on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4–but not PC.

According to Game Informer, an Xbox Wire post originally said offline co-op would only be supported on Xbox One. However, this statement has since been updated to say it is “exclusive to the console version,” which covers both Xbox One and PS4.

None of this is surprising. This is the same setup as 2015’s Battlefront, with offline split-screen co-op only available on consoles.

Battlefront II launches on November 17. Unlike the first game, the sequel has a campaign, which puts you into the boots of an Imperial soldier, Iden Versio. Of course, multiplayer returns–and a number of significant changes and additions have been made. Content from “all eras” of Star Wars is represented.
