Call of Duty WW2 PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch announcement details revealed? – Express.co.uk

Fans are now hoping for Call of Duty WW2 to be announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC this weekend.

Several journalists have hinted that a big gaming announcement will be made in the coming days, and is within the usual window that COD games are revealed.

While it differs from late April to early May, it appears that this year’s Call of Duty 2017 will be announced a little earlier than usual.

However, no set date has been provided, so there is the chance that the announcement may fall on the following weekend.

There is also the chance that this is in reference to something else, so take this latest news with a grain of salt.

There is also speculation surrounding whether the new Call of Duty 2017 game will be released on Nintendo Switch.

It seems possible that the game could be in development for the new console, although many other high profile titles are skipping it.

While the Nintendo Switch isn’t as powerful as either the PS4 or Xbox One, Activision have released lower-specced versions of their titles in the past.

Both Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3 were available on Xbox 360 and PS3, although Infinite Warfare did skip last-gen platforms.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was unveiled on May 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops III was announced on April 26, while Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was planned for May 4, but ended up being unveiled on May 1.

Prior to this, Call of Duty: Ghosts was announced on May 1, but the full gameplay reveal took place during the Xbox One conference on May 21.

Then there was Call of Duty: Black Ops II on May 1, while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was saved until May 23.

Call of Duty 2017 cover art and promotional material was recently leaked ahead of the full reveal, while a follow up report claimed that Call of Duty: WWII would be the full name of the new PS4, Xbox One and PC shooter.

But while nothing has been confirmed by Call of Duty 2017 developer Sledgehammer Games, studio co-founder Michael Condrey has said that there are lots of surprises in store for fans.

Condrey made the claim on Twitter, telling Ali-A that he was looking forward to the year.

The tweet reads: “Thanks man! Looking forward to the year. Plenty of surprises ahead. Want to know some of them? J/k, @SHGames would kill me. #mightbeworthit”

Fans are now waiting for official details to be revealed and for the announcement trailer to drop.
