The upcoming Louie Lucha is, per the developer Fodder Pop, a celebration of the upcoming Cinco de Mayo, and this game will celebrate it with a combination of Lucha Libre, the Mexican equivalent of professional wrestling, and a rhythm game. As you can see from the trailer below, you’ll have to tap the right blocks at the right time to help your luchador defeat a variety of human and non-human opponents. As you would expect from a free to play game of this nature, you’ll be unlocking different luchadores as you go along.
I like how colorful the game is, and the mariachi-style music definitely works well with the whole idea and style. The game will be coming out May 2nd, so get ready to wrestle all kinds of weird luchadores and break a few piñatas on the way as well.
