During its quarterly call with investors today, EA announced BioWare’s new project has been pushed into its 2019 fiscal year.
EA’s fiscal year begins in April, so it looks like we’ll need to wait until at least April 2018. In January, EA announced BioWare’s new IP release date was sometime before March of 2018.
The delay is attributed to new features BioWare is adding to the as-of-yet unnamed game, built around a live service, something EA said is coming along well.
"We’re very pleased with the progress of our new action IP from BioWare," EA CEO Andrew Wilson said during the call. "We decided to add more to the disruptive new social design for our players."
