Bungie has officially revealed Destiny 2 gameplay along with tons of details about the game’s multiplayer and PC version of the game. While Bungie has confirmed that Destiny 2 will run at 30 FPS on consoles but the studio has not really talked about the Xbox One version of the game and the studio will not talk the Xbox One version till E3 2017.
According to Bungie, the studio is not ready to talk about Destiny 2 on Xbox One and specifically Xbox One Scorpio and the advantages it will bring over the standard consoles not until E3 2017. It seems that Bungie has something special in mind regarding the Xbox version of the game and will only reveal it at this year’s E3.
Speaking of the game, Bungie has confirmed the beta for Destiny 2. According to the studio, the beta for the game will be coming this summer for PC and consoles. Players will have access to the game’s first single-player mission along with a strike and will be able to walk around on different maps for the duration of the open beta.
Also, Bungie has confirmed that Destiny 2 PC version will not be available on Steam but will only be available through Blizzard’s Battle.net client. This client already hosts Blizzard’s other games, including World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Overwatch, and Hearthstone. The reason behind this decision was not revealed by Bungie.
Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter in development at Bungie and is scheduled to launch on September 8, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
