Thomas O’Connor of PlayEveryWare joins us to talk development and video games.
Another week, another guest, but this time we have the privilege of having Thomas O’Connor, the founder of PlayEveryWare Games, join us. We open the show with Thomas walking his dog, but get right into talking about game development and how he got to where he is now. That includes working at Nintendo, Microsoft and working with companies like WayForward and tinyBuild. He most recently worked on porting Elliot Quest to the 3DS (as well as PS4 and XB1). We talk about how different working with Nintendo is now with the Switch compared to past systems, and of course we manage to get some Zelda talk in there as well.
We say farewell to Thomas and get into a quick eShop round up followed by some news bits. Some solid offerings across all platforms including the wonderful duo of Mysterious Stars 3-D: A Fairy Tale and Mysterious Stars 3-D Road to Idol! Moving into the News we touch on the ARMS direct from last week and go over some encouraging sales figures for the month of April. We wrap up the news with a bazaare Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle leak that *adjusts tie* Nintendo World Report broke.
