Get an early taste of the game
12 minutes of gameplay from Star Wars Battlefront 2 has been leaked online, giving us a good taste of how it will look and feel to play as Darth Maul and Rey. You can watch the leaked video above.
The footage seems to be taken from YouTuber NukemDukem’s EA Play footage, which was likely recorded before the event. The video features a “sponsored by EA” graphic in the lower left-hand corner.
The footage was uploaded by YouTube user Mjolnir, who is warning everyone in the comments to view or download the video before EA has it taken down, and has stated that it’s “absolutely not stolen.” It’s unknown how they came by the video at the time of writing, although the EA Play event, which is scheduled to begin later today, is referenced at the beginning of the stream.
While the video quality is a bit lacking, this gives you a pretty decent sense of the game and it’s pretty cool to see Rey going toe-to-toe with Darth Maul.
