Clash Royale 1.9 [Free] update has just been released, and it brings a ton of new features and cards to the game. First of all, we are getting four new cards: Mega Knight, Cannon Cart, Flying Machine, and Skeleton Barrel. Each of the cards will release with its own Special Challenge as has been the case recently. And we’ll be getting new Challenges: Sudden Death, Ramp Up, and Triple Elixir. 1.9 also brings more deck slots at Arena 8, the ability to copy decks from TV Royale and shared replays, and Clans will now unlock at Level 1—although card requests still unlock at Level 3.
My personal favorite 1.9 addition is new 2V2 game modes in what Supercell calls Summer of 2v2. We are getting 2v2 Friendly Battle, 2v2 Draft, and 2v2 Challenge, and pretty soon you’ll be able to collect chests with your friends in 2v2 Battle.
