Bungie’s shooter sequel will be debuted a few days earlier than expected.

Destiny 2 will now be released on September 6 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as opposed to its originally announced September 6 release date.

Revealed during an E3 2017 PlayStation conference trailer, Bungie’s Luke Smith confirmed that the new release date applies to a new release for the game on both PS4 and Xbox One. No PC release date has been announced.

The PlayStation E3 trailer for Destiny 2 revealed the PS4-exclusive content coming to the sequel. IGN got our first hands-on impressions of Destiny 2 last month, at which point IGN also learned that there are “no plans” for Destiny 2 on Nintendo Switch and that the game won’t use dedicated servers.

Stay up to date with everything revealed about Destiny 2 so far.
