Watch Dogs has become available to Xbox Live Gold members today, and will be available to download on Xbox One until July 15.
The open world Ubisoft game joins Speedrunners and the multiplayer DLC for Phantom Dust in the Games with Gold June 2017 lineup for Xbox One.
For Xbox 360 players, Dragon Age: Origins has now dropped as the free game they can download and will be available until June 30.
It replaces Assassin’s Creed 3, which was available from June 1 till June 15.
With Xbox One Backwards Compatibility, Xbox One and Xbox One S players will still be able to play Dragon Age: Origins.
Watch Dogs – “Play as the criminal Aiden Pearce, seeking revenge to those who have done you wrong by manipulating the city networks, which connects you to everything. Steal private records, destroy traffic, and use the power of technology against your foes.”
Speedrunners – “The highly competitive racing game makes its debut on Xbox One. You’ll have to run, jump, swing, fire rockets, and knock your opponent’s off the screen to prove you’re the hero the city needs.
“In a city filled with superheroes, getting to the bad guys becomes a competition all its own.”
The Games with Gold July 2017 lineup has not been announced, but is only a few weeks away with the month soon drawing to a close.
In June, the Xbox Game Pass service was also been set live today for all customers.
Xbox One owners can try out the service for free, with a 14-day trial available from today for all players with an internet connection.
Xbox Game Pass is different to other services in that gamers can download and play games in full fidelity on their Xbox One or Xbox One S console.
It isn’t a streaming service, meaning fans can just subscribe and download, without needing a great connection.
Microsoft recently announced that fans will get access to at least five new games a month with the Xbox Games Pass.
And the first games to hit the service, which costs £7.99, won’t be leaving until late November.
Xbox Game Pass senior product manager Dennis Ceccarelli said: “So on the first of every month, you’re going to see at least five new games enter the Game Pass catalogue — every single month.
“Again, we’re really trying to give a great mix of games across different ratings, different experiences, different genres, so no matter who you are, if you’re a Game Pass member, every single month there’s something new for you to play.”
He added: “We see a lot of questions and a lot of assumptions about, ‘When are these games going to leave the catalog?”
While there’s not one set amount of time that a game will be in the catalogue, and some titles will leave the catalogue eventually, I want to put some fears at rest because our first games won’t be leaving the catalogue until late November.
“In reality, the vast majority of our games are going to be in there much, much longer than that so you’ve got plenty of time to play through the great experiences that are in Game Pass, engage with DLC, just really enjoy that content — it’s not leaving tomorrow.”
