Gigantic finally set to launch in July on Xbox One and PC – Windows Central

Upcoming free-to-play title Gigantic has had a bit of a storied development history, but now it finally has an official launch date. Motiga and Perfect World have announced that the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) will launch in full on July 20 on Xbox One, Windows 10 and Steam.

The launch, of course, follows an open beta that has been running since December 2016. That open beta will continue to run up until launch, so anyone who wants to jump into the game ahead of time can do so.

Today also marks the launch of the game’s final update while still in beta, and it brings some notable new features. One of the biggest changes in this update is the addition of a new player experience, which runs newbies through a tutorial to get them acquainted with the. In addition, the update adds bot matches, letting you test your mettle against AI-controlled bots before jumping into matches against real players. Voice chat is also now built into Gigantic.

For more, you can check out the full June patch notes on the Gigantic website.

If you want to give Gigantic a shot ahead of its July 20 launch, the open beta is available to try out on Windows 10 and Xbox One now for free. You can also pick up the Founder’s Pack, which will give you all 18 heroes, two upcoming heroes, and more for $30.
