Oculus Rift Designer Reportedly Donates to Oculus ‘Hack’

Palmer Luckey, designer of the Oculus Rift, has reportedly pledged thousands of dollars to a project that aims to unlock Oculus Rift-exclusive games for HTC Vive.

Jules Blok – who runs ReVive, the project that aims to bring all exclusive Oculus games to Valve’s headset – posted a message thanking Luckey following an apparent $2,000 per month pledge to his Patreon (as reported by UploadVR).

"As some of you suspected," wrote Blok, "the sudden extreme jump in the pledge amount is indeed by Palmer Luckey. I’d like to thank him for his pledge and everything he has done for the VR community as a whole."
