As expected, GTA 5 Online is being slowly updated with new content following the launch of the recent Gun Running DLC.
This week has seen a new vehicle and Adversary Mode added to the game on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Overtime Rumble is a new vehicle-based mode that challenges players to use vehicles as darts with the added bonus of the carnage of a destruction derby.
“Imagine the fun of launching yourself through the sky at the center of a distant target in a Ruiner 2000 with only the onboard parachute separating a top score from a deadly fireball.
“Well, Overtime Rumble is just like that, only you and every other adrenaline junkie in Los Santos are all hitting the accelerator at the same time. This can only end well.
“This team-based vehicular remix of Darts for up to 10 players, and has you trying to land your Ruiner 2000 on platforms of various sizes, each worth anywhere between 1 and 5 points.”
The new Adversary Mode launches with its own bonus, wotj accuracy rewarded with Double GTA$ & RP now through July 17.
The latest vehicle to be added to the game is the Grotti Cheetah Classic, which is available to buy from Legendary Motorsport, costing around $865,000.
“If you’ve never been able to decide between vintage vogue and cutting-edge chic, the Grotti Cheetah Classic will let you have it both ways.
“This beauty has been setting trends and breaking records ever since it rolled off the production line three decades ago, so if you want to ooze class and rocket fuel all at the same time, your number just came up.”
Rockstar have also updated the game’s in-game bonuses and discounts, with players now able to buy new real estate that add the CEO perks and missions, as well as getting ready for any Gun Running DLC.
Executive office discounts include:
- Maze Bank West – 25% off
- Arcadius Business Center – 30% off
- Lombank West – 35% off
- Maze Bank Tower – 40% off
- Executive Office Garages & Custom Auto Shop – 25% off

More content is expected to be added to GTA 5 Online in the coming weeks, with an even bigger update set to follow.
GTA 5 players have for years been searching for clues about aliens hidden in San Andreas, with spacecraft parts and UFO sightings dotted around the game.
The theories of aliens in GTA 5 first emerged years ago, when a cryptic painting of what looks like a map to a UFO was spotted at Mt. Chiliad.
And with the most recent update – the GTA 5 Online Gunrunning DLC – players seem to have finally found conclusive proof of aliens in the Rockstar game.
Modding group Team Guru scoured through the code for GTA Online’s Gunrunning update which apparently contained clues about a secret alien mission.
One of the Guru members created a tool that switched in-game variables until they were able to force an alien supply mission to begin.
They posted a clip of the mission on YouTube, which showed a UFO crash site nearby the Zancudo military base.
