Watch EA’s Gamescom 2017 press briefing here

What is EA bringing to Germany this year?

Electronic Arts is holding its usual Gamescom press briefing, with a live broadcast from Cologne, Germany, that promises game demos, esports matches and more.

The livestream will begin at 12:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. CEST; EA has not said how long it will run for. You can watch the whole thing in the YouTube video embedded above.

Some of EA’s biggest games for the rest of the year are Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Need for Speed Payback. Of course, the usual EA Sports lineup is also a major focus for the company, including the return of the NBA Live basketball franchise next month. One thing we don’t expect to see is Mass Effect: Andromeda, after developer BioWare announced over the weekend that it has no plans to release further patches or downloadable content for the game’s single-player campaign.

Polygon is on the ground in Cologne all week long to provide coverage from Gamescom 2017, so keep checking back for more details on the announcements from EA and everyone else.
