Launching early 2018.

Fe, the upcoming platformer from Swedish developer Zoink Games, will be released in early 2018, Electronic Arts announced today at Gamescom.

In addition to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, the publisher confirmed the EA Originals title will also launch for Nintendo Switch. Check out the trailer EA released alongside today’s announcement below:

In Fe, which was announced last year at E3, players take on the role of a cub who awakes to find itself in a forest. They must use sound to communicate as they explore the world and attempt to rescue its wildlife from the Silent Ones, a machine foe that threatens the forest.

“We would spend hours in the woods as kids, and while it felt scary at first, eventually the strange sounds became familiar — you become part of nature and the forest feels like home. Players will realize similar feelings as they play through Fe,” Zoink Games CEO and creative lead Klaus Lyngeled said.
