Before creating Gone Home, Steve Gaynor worked at Irrational Games on BioShock Infinite, but left during development. Speaking to IGN, Gaynor discussed why he decided to leave the large-scale project in favor of returning home to Portland and founding his own development studio, Fullbright.
"I had worked on Infinite for a year and I knew it was gonna be another good year-plus before it came out," he said on the latest episode of our monthly interview show IGN Unfiltered, noting he and his wife had never lived in New England before, so working in Boston at Irrational was a new experience for them.
