Developer IllFonic has detailed the latest update for slasher game Friday the 13th, with offline bots and a new level cap arriving today and a series of holiday events announced for the coming weeks.
As detailed in a forum post, the new "Offline Play" menu option allows gamers to launch a map of their choice as Jason, with three tiers of difficulty available to suit players’ preference. Difficulty affects gameplay features such as how long counselors remember Jason’s presence, how quickly they react and their willingness to fight. Depending on how murderous players are feeling, there’s also the option to choose from 1-7 counselors to hunt.
