Stardew Valley’s Multiplayer Is Now in the QA Phase

The new content will make your horse look like a total stud.

Stardew Valley‘s multiplayer update has officially entered the QA phase, and will bring some new single player content with it when it does finally drop.

Eric Barone, the game’s creator, posted a status update to Twitter, saying, “Stardew Valley multiplayer is in QA and bugs are being fixed at a very good pace!”

He also assured fans that there would be more to the update than just the multiplayer feature, saying that players can expect “new single player stuff,” and that the multiplayer functionality is “just a layer on top of the existing single player game.”

Barone teased some of the new content, but he didn’t clarify if it would be available this spring with the multiplayer beta, or if we’d have to wait until the full roll out.

Horse hats! How we’ve managed to get by without them is anyone’s guess.

QA should be the last phase before the public beta. “When [QA] is finished, the update should be ready for a public beta. I am still shooting for a spring release for the beta,” he said last month.

The game’s creator recently revealed that he’s working on a new game, but it’s very much under wraps for now.
