The quintessential Master Chief experience receives visual improvements and great quality-of-life features.
Nearly four years after its original release, Halo: The Master Chief collection is being updated to add visual enhancements with the power of the Xbox One X.
In addition to the full visual enhancement suite, including HDR support, 343 Industries is overhauling and modernizing Halo: The Master Chief Collection with a UI refresh.
Among the new quality-of-life features coming, the team is bringing legitimate LAN support to the collection, alongside Intelligent Delivery, which allows players to install portions of the game or languages piecemeal to save hard drive space.
343 Industries previously outlined the Halo: Master Chief Collection changes they’d hoped to bring to the game. For our initial impressions, you can check out IGN’s Halo: The Master Chief Collection review, which is still on our list of The Best Xbox One games you should own right now.
