The Division 2 Will Have Raids And New Specializations, Ubisoft Confirms At E3 2018

One of the big criticisms of The Division 1 was that it did not offer enough end-game content for players. It seems Ubisoft is taking that feedback to heart with The Division 2, as the company announced today at E3 2018 that there will be raids in the game, a first for the franchise.

The raids support eight players, Ubisoft confirmed. The developer added that it is planning "years" of content for The Division 2, with new updates becoming available on a frequent basis.

Ubisoft also confirmed that The Division 2 will have specializations that you can eventually unlock after you complete the campaign. These include Sharpshooter, Demolitionist, and Survivalist. You character will grow in power and unlock new tools and abilities over time. The idea is to give players the opportunity to create their own personal playstyle and then combine it with teammates to create a powerful squad.

The Division 2 launches in March 2019, and a beta will be held before launch. Keep checking back for more from E3 2018 about The Division and Ubisoft’s other games.
